As a website, we've probably sponsored 40 male players and at least 10 female players (two last season) over the last 30. Last season for example we sponsored Bim Pepple, Oseni, Paris Dalton andTiana Teisar . Next season we will NOT be sponsoring ANYONE. We support PAFC but we don't support a CEO who acts in the way he has this week. Simply not good enough.
They’ve had all day to come up with a proper explanation and come out with that bollocks 😂😂 Blame it on the departing manager, no explanation about the shit AI generated email and move on. #pafc
“We will review”…
Completely brushed over how the decision was communicated, and an abhorrent attempt to throw in a lil well Marie should have told them…
Absolutely embarrassing from the club yet again. The lack of accountability is astounding.

"Its not our fault, its Marie's fault"

Argyle and Southampton having some sort of shit club statement tournament today.
No accountability. No leadership. No ownership. Just finger pointing.

Plymouth MP Luke Pollard on the news of the Argyle Women’s team: 🗣️
"I am shocked and disappointed by the way in which the Argyle women's team were told the news that their contracts were not being renewed.
"This is bad news for our club and bad news for football in the city. We all want a club that has a strong women's team, a strong men's team and works well with the community. Until this weekend that is what we had.
"I am asking the club to reconsider their decision and to reflect on how they have treated the brilliant women's squad.
“All our players deserve better, and my thoughts are with them as they process this news.”

The players of Plymouth Argyle Women have released a joint statement…
“Nearly all players have been informed via an email from the club that they will be released at the end of the season”
No meetings nothing just an email 😳
Plymouth Argyle have told the vast majority of their women's first-team players their contracts won't be renewed this summer, via an emailed letter - seen by the Guardian - which players have described as cold and impersonal. More here... #FAWNL [1/3] https://t.co/tHH0SGRkXB
The contrast couldn’t be greater.
Today we celebrated the very best of the WNL.
Tonight, we’re reading about a squad being dismantled after its most successful season.
Players lives are just seen as collateral damage in boardroom decisions.
Money is making the game toxic!
Our reaction to the gutting, but no longer surprising, actions of Plymouth Argyle FC to release nearly all of their women’s team.
This is just the latest in a string of examples of senior people at the club communicating significant decisions carelessly or without basic respect for the people who make Argyle so special.
We urge the club to clarify the situation as soon as possible.

Genuinely ridiculous decision, after all the promoting via socials, all the fans who backed the side at QPR and Burton for the cup finals - this feels like the ultimate disrespect and a big middle finger to those who followed home and away.
#pafc
After delivering one of the most successful seasons in the club’s history, the players, staff, and supporters deserved far better communication and leadership. The achievements of this group should have been a foundation to build upon, not a reason for it to be dismantled. #pafc
