@ibroxrocks Couldn’t agree more. In a pub in Spain watching with fellow Bears. Very little anger, just acceptance of where we are. Rather than a structured rebuild, improving bit by bit, we’ve somehow ended up worse than when we started.
@ryzo_11@adamski152 Souttar has to be the leader in the defence. We are conceding too many goals. Not all his fault but he needs to be the commanding centre back that pulls together everyone around him by leading by example which he is not doing.
@adamski152 It is interesting to see that since Souttar came back in to the team that we have starting shipping a lot of goals again. The other side of that is that we are trying to be a more expansive team so maybe I just want to blame him.
@ibroxrocks Has there ever been a poorer Celtic team and we still can’t beat them when it really matters. Celtic would have ended the game in the first half. So disappointing but why would be expect anything less from a team that has now drawn 12 games out of 29.
@ibroxrocks We just seem to lack the guile against teams who sit in. Most of our goals come from chaos.
We can keep on blaming Tav but if Sterling was fit he wouldn’t be playing. Tav is basically second choice at RB but Sterling is never fit.
@ibroxrocks I’m not saying he’s not a good option, but you can’t tell me the best we could do was someone we’d need to wait six weeks for. Control of transfers is a separate issue, but if he said from the start he wouldn’t come just now, why interview him?
@ibroxrocks Has there ever been a manager who blows your mind as much as RM! I would love this week to be not what we expect but there seems an inevitability about it ☹️
@ibroxrocks I don’t understand how anyone can make it look so difficult. I think we have signed some good players but it looks like the players are so restricted in what they are allowed to do. How Aarons gets a game I will never know.
@ibroxrocks I have never understood managers who think we don’t change for anyone. It was clear we had to be a more pragmatic last night and pack the middle to protect the defence but instead we tried to play the Russell Martin way which left the team critically exposed.
@ibroxrocks Once again Souttar at fault. No where near our biggest problem but I don’t understand why he doesn’t get called out as much as the other centre backs.
@ibroxrocks It is amazing to read that most people think that we played well tonight with hope for the future which is exactly how I felt. The guys around me spent the whole game slaughtering everyone including the manager!
