@couriermail And somehow parts of the media will find a way to blame the government, when the real issue is the retailers are trying to sell stuff that people don’t need to go to the city to buy!
Look, not even we thought we’d have #BinBen trending Number One in Australia for 24 hours, witches.
It’s fucking fantastic.
And while these Twitter trends don’t matter and don’t cause much change in and of themselves, they’re a good barometer of what people are noticing and caring about.
Which should strike some very real fear into quite a lot of people at @2GB873 and @BenFordhamLive, because Ben’s behaviour this week has made a shitload of people VERY VERY ANGRY and VERY VERY DETERMINED to get some retribution happening.
We’ve had a few responses from advertisers today, which we’ll share with you tomorrow as we’re too exhausted by how overwhelming our mentions have been today to do more posting now.
But please be aware we appreciate every single like, re-tweet, quote-tweet, reply, unique tweet and hashtag posted by you, because making a great big fucking noise is what gets traction with advertisers and with 2GB themselves.
It matters.
So please keep it going.
We’ve had more than 9,000 #BinBen hashtag responses so far, so let’s see if we can get it to 10,000 tonight.
And let’s see if all of those 9,000 or 10,000 witches who’ve tweeted the hashtag will get into our Campaign Data lists tomorrow via https://t.co/igA7ByRwpQ, to send a witchy email or DM to another advertiser who’s funding Ben Fordham’s hate. (And if you’re still not sure how to participate in the campaign, let us know in a reply or DM us, and we’ll be happy to help you out.)
Let’s go, witches.
And let’s all #BinBen.

@9NewsQueensland @OLathouris_9 The opposition need to deck off and shut up. Stop criticising everything for political gain and instead offer up solutions or at least suggestions to help.
You won’t get elected for criticising others…
@RizviAbul@BenFordhamLive just ring the retailer and tell them to do a final read on the property as you are moving. They will send a final bill.
Make sure you turn the gas off at the tap beside the meter.
@KosSamaras@GSumm1 The LNP in Brisbane have realised it is better to remain silent on anything that has a risk of costing them votes.
Brisbane City council and the Lord Mayor (LNP) support The Voice but have remained pretty much silent on the issue so they don’t lose votes to One Nation!!!
