Father, husband, stroke survivor, recently retired. Big reader (Reacher, Aubrey, Sharpe, Ryan) loves football 🏈 @Titans, Predators, movies and TV (Star Trek!).
So were mine. I know their names and where they’re buried.
However…
Their descendant is free. He has an education. He worked a job making people safe. He bought a house. He has a family. He can read and write. He can walk around wherever he wants. He takes care of himself, his family, and his neighborhood.
My ancestors would be proud of me and the country I live in. They would be proud of the progress that was made. They would be proud of the freedoms we all have today.
You’re mad just for the sake of being mad. I’m happy and free because that’s what I am.
In honor of my mother, Flora Klein, who at 14 years of age was in the concentration camps of Nazi Germany, I will be at the White House July 4th honoring our veterans from WW II July 4th. Alongside me, will be 10 surviving WW II veterans. God bless our veterans.
🇯🇵🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day to our friends in the United States!

They aren't annoyed with Dwayne Johnson because he's chosen to keep quiet about politics, they are angry because he refuses to parrot *their* politics.
They don't actually want more political opinion, they are simply trying to enforce a purity test whereby anyone refusing to regurgitate 'progressive' dogma must be vilified.
Dwayne Johnson is the adult in the room here.
I’m incredibly grateful to be included in the historic celebrations of our nation’s independence and I look forward to being in Washington for all of the festivities this week.
It’s sad that someone would feel compelled to write an article like this.
Within this Atlantic article, the writer strains against the joy that’s been expressed by our foreign World Cup guests, and tries to find evidence of its falseness.
He is unable to.
I have saved you the trouble of reading the article. Enjoy all the happy videos instead.
And @TheAtlantic, you would gain many subscribers if you were to instead print the obvious piece about the joy being expressed. And also pull some happiness to yourself in associating with this joy.
