[Hockey REVIEW 🏒🥅 @ReviewOfHockey]

It took Hockey Alberta and Hockey Edmonton a bit long to drop from 4 Midget (U18AAA) teams down to 3, then 2.
Looks like we might be at that discussion level at U15AAA?
Tough weekend.

Totals: AEHL South 45 goals, Edmonton Area 5 goals. Shots: South 260, Edmonton 101.

The correct answer is Penticton.

Nearly 59,000 raucous fans packed the Centrium as all eight games of the tournament were sold out. #RedDeer (not surprisingly!) crushed it as first Alberta city to host the #MemorialCup since 1974. It'll always be a personal and career highlight to be a small part of it.

That’s all she wrote for the hosts. An uphill battle going in. 0-3 with two goals all tournament.

“In it to win it” was a common phrase from management, but holding on to that high 1st rd pick could have made a difference. We will never know.

Silvertips full marks tonight.

Shame on you David Eby and the people that voted for you .

One was involved, or at least included in the process. The other was blindsided at the loss of his captain bolting just a few weeks before training camp opened.

Big difference.

If a team is looking to add a puck-moving defender in the mid to late rounds of the 2026 draft they could do much worse than Red Deer's Nate Yellowaga. The guy can really wheel and carve

(And fun fact: his dad was a skills coach for the Brooks Bandits during the Cale Makar days)

A husband and wife are showering when the doorbell rings. The woman is just getting out and says, “I’ll get it.” So, she goes to the door wearing just a towel.

A man stands at the door, looks at the half-naked beauty, and says,
“My name is Barry, and I’ll give you £300 to take off the towel!”

The wife thinks for a moment and decides, “What the hell - £300 is £300, right?” So she drops the towel.

The guy looks at her gorgeous body for a while, gives her a wink and a thumbs-up, hands her £300, and leaves.

She goes upstairs and finds her husband just getting out of the shower.
“Who was at the door?” he asks.

She says, “Some guy named Barry.”

The husband asks,
“Oh, that’s Barry from work. Did he give you the £300 he owed me?”

Canadian-Born Punjabi Trucker UNLOADS on Corrupt Employers: “They Destroyed Our Industry”
(WARNING: Crude language.)
A Canadian-born Punjabi trucker speaks to @MediaBezirgan about what he calls the corruption and negligence destroying Canada’s trucking industry, laying blame squarely on exploitative employers from India, weak government oversight, and unsafe practices.

“They should go back to their fing countries and stop fing with mine," expressed Sunny, a 15-year veteran truck driver frustrated with what has become of his industry.

Sunny highlights how corrupt foreign firms are driving good Canadian companies out of business by cutting corners, underpaying unskilled non-citizen drivers, and neglecting truck maintenance.

"You guys destroyed my fing industry — charging LMIA drivers $40,000 to start, enough for a down payment on a brand new truck — and then you pay them cents on the dollar, if you even fing pay them. On top of that, you neglect f*ing maintenance — I don’t know why the government allowed you guys to do this, but it’s unacceptable."

"Tomorrow somebody could beat me up because they're frustrated of these Indian drivers that wear flip-flops and don't take s*** seriously," added Sunny.

Sunny spoke about the recent accident in Florida where an illegal Punjabi truck driver took the lives of 3 Americans by making a U-turn on a highway.

"That guy didn't even fing care -- and that's what these guys are all like -- they do this everyday -- since these immigrants started coming here our truck insurance has doubled up."

Sunny calls on all truck drivers to not work with corrupt trucking firms and instead work with long-established Canadian firms that cares about public safety.

BREAKING: The Department of Homeland Security has just confirmed to me that ICE is seriously considering immigration enforcement at Truck Weigh Stations across America.

This follows a criminal alien truck driver killing three Americans in Florida when he executed an illegal u-turn.

Harjinder Singh entered the country illegally and was handed a Commercial Driver’s License from California. He’s being charged with manslaughter after killing three American Citizens.

DHS spokesperson tells me ICE enforcement at Truck stops and DOT Weigh Stations are “on the table.”

“Secretary Noem and DHS is keeping all enforcement options on the table to keep Americans safe. This should have never happened.”

“Three innocent people were killed in Florida because Gavin Newsom’s California DMV issued an illegal alien a Commercial Driver’s License—this state of governance is asinine.

How many more innocent people have to die before Gavin Newsom stops playing games with the safety of the American public? We pray for the victims and their families.”

According to trucking industry insiders, illegal aliens are rampant in the profession.
