🐞 Celebrate Be Nice to Bugs Day! 🦋🐝

Not every bug is a pest—many are some of nature's hardest workers! Bees pollinate the plants that grow our food, butterflies help support healthy ecosystems, and ladybugs naturally protect gardens by eating harmful insects.

Today, take a closer look at the tiny creatures around you. Instead of squashing a bug, spend a few minutes observing it and learning about the important role it plays in nature.

Scouting encourages curiosity, respect for wildlife, and caring for the outdoors—because every living thing has a place in the ecosystem.

Safety Moments for Laser Tag and Squirt Tag & Squirt Guns have been published and are ready for use. These safety moments allow us to have fun, engaging activities while also ensuring we focus on the right steps to prevent serious harm to our Scouts and Scouters.

Laser tag is permitted at indoor, commercial laser tag facilities, providing an engaging way for units to practice the patrol method and other small unit techniques.

Squirt tag & squirt guns are permitted, but adults supervising these activities need to ensure the playing area is safe, squirt guns used meet our requirements and only willing participants get squirted.
