This is so important and it applies to all farming equipment, not just combines. Weed seeds and plant parts can be spread via between field traffic. For example, these bindweed vines and rhizome fragments.

Are these both Southern Rust? No. Left is Physoderma Brown Spot while picture on right is in fact Southern Rust. Can be tricky to determine at first glance. 👀 for chocolate brown lesions on midrib for Physoderma. Small “Cheeto” colored lesions on Southern Rust. #scout19

More tar spot confirmed in Dekalb Co., IL for 5 years in a row. Incidence extremely low. Not a surprise as once found in a county its been found in the county the following year. Expect more counties confirmed, but severity is up in the air. @ILplantdoc @corndisease
