@thriftymaven This is the world we live in now: almost everything becomes politicized, divided into black or white, left or right, us versus them. Somewhere along the line, we seem to have lost sight of our shared humanity. Instead of judging, why can’t we first see the human being?
@thriftymaven This was a life taken too soon, horrific death. The identification of the alleged perpetrator doesn’t make the circumstances less nor does it erase the pain her loved ones left the carry. Tasia humanity should remain at the center of this conversation. RIP

The Dumfries Missionary Church has been a cornerstone of our community since 1969. After Hurricane Melissa, it was destroyed, but our faith remains strong. Your support can help rebuild. Every contribution counts in bringing hope back to our community. https://t.co/SLnDRnBaMR
@thriftymaven@AzPetrich It’s interesting that you say that, bcse many troubling things are being done while people claim they’re acting in the name of God and in the name of love. That contradiction is difficult to understand. These are definitely the last days; things witnessed are hard to explain.
@thriftymaven@AzPetrich Same here. These are dark and uncertain times we’re living in. This morning, before I went to work, I simply prayed,”Lord give me strength to face another day.”The truth is, none of us knows what the day will bring or tomorrow holds. I need His strength and guidance.🙏
@thriftymaven@AzPetrich 2) My deepest condolences to our family. I’m grateful there has been an arrest, and I hope the focus remains on truth, accountability, and justice for her.
@thriftymaven@AzPetrich 1) It’s heartbreaking that we even have to be having this conversation tonight. Given our history, I understand why emotions run high and why people fear the worst. At the same time, we sometimes have to allow facts to play out before we conclude. We must do better.
@thriftymaven@AzPetrich The goal should be justice and accountability, not the race of the people doing their jobs. I’m thankful law-enforcement worked together to identify and arrest the personal responsible.
