@cleveland4life_ @NFL @chargers You realize that the NFL is the American evolution of rugby, right? The term “touchdown” is literally from the rugby requirement to touch the ball down in the “in goal” area (end zone). Onside kick going at least 10 yards - rugby rule. Touchback placement - rugby rule.

@JLyall93 Felt the same, but it worked out perfectly. We had the pleasure of the historic win without the horror of watching Eddie Jones get an undeserved reprieve.

@AndyHutch2010 @AndyGoode10 Rugby needs to re-boot its thinking on red cards - huge disconnect original red card intent (flagrant, intentional dirty acts). Need to support player safety, but shouldn’t maintain the old discipline standards that assume malice (vs the natural consequence of player speed).

[Kevin Lynch @ScramblerGolf]

@Grey_Sergeant @AndyGoode10 Except kicker got back up immediately. That’s probably why it didn’t draw scrutiny in the moment.

[Kevin Lynch @ScramblerGolf]

@CSmit77 @AndyGoode10 I think they’d say the same - the hit is the same as numerous that have been carded in Premiership. I think the inconsistency isn’t Farrell favoritism, but probably the fact that kicker bounced right back up rather than laying on the ground - so there was less scrutiny on it.

[Kevin Lynch @ScramblerGolf]

@AndyGoode10 Biggest factor is that kicker bounced back up immediately - so no “revisiting” the hit on video as a result of the consequence. Also, assuming TMO / video availability is far lower in Championship. Agreed that this has been a clear card in Premiership all year.

@SuperRugbyNZ Is there any progress in securing a broadcast deal for United States viewers? I’d hate to resort to improper viewing methods, but absent any viable alternatives.... Can we please get a deal done before more of the season is gone?

[Kevin Lynch @ScramblerGolf]

@ESPNPlusHelp What is the status of broadcast rights for Super Rugby AU & Super Rugby Aotearoa in the US? Watched on ESPN+ last year and have not seen any alternative broadcast carriers on internet. Is it still being negotiated or is ESPN no longer involved?

[Kevin Lynch @ScramblerGolf]

@voilisi64 @SuperRugbyNZ Same question here. If ESPN+ is not carrying, how are US fans able to watch Super Rugby this year? Is ESPN+ losing Rugby Championship as well? Would be very disappointing.

[Kevin Lynch @ScramblerGolf]

@KeyJayandZ Congrats to Key for forcing me to turn off the show by not allowing anyone else to speak. There are 3 people on the show - occasionally allow for the fact that you don’t know everything.

[Kevin Lynch @ScramblerGolf]

@espn @KeyJayandZ Can someone please force Keyshon to watch today’s show? Amazing how much easier is it to listen without Key talking over everyone. I have to change the channel most days due to the constant interruption.

@Harlequins It was a phenomenal finish for his last Super Rugby match.

[Kevin Lynch @ScramblerGolf]

@Zman3003 @buffalogolfer @markpoloncarz Agreed - Corey has done a great job at Elma, restoring several scary pin positions that weren’t a consideration before. More could be done to expand some greens, but I get the financial limits involved. On top of aerials, I had old Pro’s yardage book green measurements (ca 2003)

@RugbyPodcast Loved the bonus pod today! Hoping you’ll consider future assignments without hinting at results. I’m a passionate nee convert to the sport, & still absorbing all the history. Love experiencing the classic games without knowing the outcome (especially during this dry time).

@RandyScottESPN @janine_michaud Probably violating several dozen copyright laws, but I had to take video of the passing brilliance.

[Kevin Lynch @ScramblerGolf]

@RandyScottESPN @janine_michaud I thought more people would have picked up on it. I shared video of the reference on my FB feed and only one person knew what I was talking about. Well done, sir! #TitoGetMeSomeTissue
