Caleb Wilson was the clear pick. LOVE IT. Electric at UNC, but his impact goes beyond the box score. He’s the kind of player who can change the entire vibe around a franchise and a city. Chicago deserves this. Future franchise star. #Bulls
Darryn Peterson is going to be a superstar in Utah. I’ve watched a lot of college basketball, and he’s the best offensive player I’ve seen at that level since KD. The scoring, shot creation, pace, and ability to take over a game are special.
The Jazz aren’t just getting a great prospect, they’re getting a franchise changing star. #Jazz #kubball
My final thought on Darryn Peterson’s draft stock and health situation at KU:
I think the cramping issue was legitimate and creatine scare played a role. His camp likely told him that if something didn’t feel right, get out immediately. As frustrating as it was at times, the reality is Kansas was a five-month stop on his journey. The NBA has always been the end goal.
Because of that, I don’t blame him for taking himself out when he felt pain or cramped. He was listening to the people responsible for protecting his future. KU was simply a pit stop.
That said, I’ve been a Jayhawk fan my entire life and have watched a lot of college basketball. Darryn Peterson is the best offensive prospect I’ve ever seen. He looked like an NBA player competing on a college court. I’ve compared his game to Kobe from day one. He’s that talented and is ready right now.
Don’t pass on DP. #kubball
Bryson Tiller…. a player I thought would be a Jayhawk for two seasons and then go to the NBA. I fear he just ruined his chance of going to the next level leaving Bill Self, but we shall see. #kubball
Pottinger’s Formula when looking for a NATIONAL CHAMPION IN MARCH.
1.) Team has a WINNING coach
2.) Team has at least ONE NBA player
3.) Team has a VETERAN guard, JR or preferably a SR.

Kansas takes down undefeated, No. 1 Arizona.. and they did it without DP. That’s the scary part. If this is what the Jayhawks look like shorthanded, at their best… imagine the ceiling when he’s back. This team is a real problem. #kubball
