m3 strat idea getting downward clip into goal. 99% sure this is faster but its too hard and unfun for me to want to grind this. most completions wont even save time over wr because it needs to be a fast run and this level is completely idiotic and has insane time variance.

just wasted over an hour trying to find the last spirit in this stupid fucking ghost quest in og animal crossing. ran around the whole map 10 times and the last spirit never spawned. the devs definitely fucked up the coding on this there is no other explanation

it feels like there is some fundamental rule of the game i never picked up on so i can never beat it which sucks because i really want to like this game, but the way my brain works and the way this game wants my brain to work are so starkly different.

@Shirubaa_ i think .58 is beatable and i plan on playing this level more to see if i can get another run like this. if you want to try it too, that would be cool! beating the tas on this level would be an awesome thing to achieve for the wr comp

smb1 record i got a few days ago. it might even be my best untied record in the game. crazy because ive been doing individual level runs of smb1/2 for about 15 years and im not falling off. if anything, im doing better than ever these last couple of years 😎

also while im ranting about shitty things in this game, it has to have the most rambly dialogue of any video game ever made. anything that could be said in 5 words takes them 100 words to say. once you notice, it's impossible to ignore.
