The 2025 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Charity Challenge Award, presented by Nationwide, recognizes an NFL player for his excellence on and off the field. We are fortunate in KC to have a caliber of Travis Kelce. He is so amazing on the field! A legacy! But he combines this on the field excellence with a plethora of philanthropic efforts!

Being an educator, of course I’m so proud of the impact Travis has had on Operation Breakthrough, which supports so many young people in the KCMO area.  65% of the children reached by Operation Breakthrough have experienced trauma or witnessed violence by the age of five. This agencies mission as serving some of the most vulnerable children in Kansas City. The Ignition Lab, which he was instrumental in establishing 5 yrs. ago is amazing, providing opportunities for inner-city teens to learn industry skills, gain real-world career experience, participate in entrepreneurial ventures, internship experiences, and chances to build key life skills. Skills they need to build a bright future!

The winner of the NFL Walter Peyton Manning award will receive $35,000 for their designated charity.  YOU can help make a difference by voting for Travis Kelce and by posting and reposting again and again ….

Wouldn’t we love to have Travis Kelce be recognized for his off the field generosity which is making a difference in the lives of so many young people? Let’s do it Chiefs AND Swiftie fans!
