Today we are releasing our statement on the deal that was made between @UWSstudents and @UniWestScotland on graduation fees. Our stance is this deal is not good enough. We will be meeting soon to discuss further actions if you would like to get involved please message us.
We showed a series of testimonials to @PrincipalUWS & other execs with a petition of over 2500 signatures to scrap UWS' graduation fees. They ignored this. Education should be free and that should include free to graduate

"@PrincipalUWS is definitely not going to spoons that's for sure"
An amazing video by @pritpal_kalsi showing how University management are misusing money and how easy it would be for them to scrap graduation fees.

@frankstarjacob why have you deleted the tweets from yesterday where you were singing the university’s praises?? You have sold out students, especially the international students that voted for you.
.@UniWestScotland must start listening to students and change the racist graduation fund to be open to all students not just the ones based in the UK or better yet make graduation free in the first place so no student is blocked from graduation ceremonies.

@scrapuwsgradfee The University feels it important to clarify a number of points re ongoing discussion & consultation on grad fees. Please see clarification here https://t.co/yYt43EIxcH
@UniWestScotland You might want to fix your statement of your lack of consultation first. If the University really cared abouts students demands it would release a public statement not this.
It's now been confirmed that both non-EU and EU international students are not allowed to apply for the graduation hardship fund. Why was this agreed to @UWSstudents and @UniWestScotland? @PrincipalUWS why are home students allowed hardship but international students not?
