like you need to be crying in your room listening to sad music and moping to your friends. it’s crazy how quickly you start to feel better when you do that instead of avoiding your emotions in every which way
"suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem" is always said by people who have only experienced very temporary problems it's so silly like Yes person whose biggest life problem was school exams 6 years ago i will Listen to ur opinion sure
when I smell weed in public I think wow what a beautiful community where people come together and feel comfortable; perhaps they’ll share a hit with a kind woman such as myself
“Cracking”, “smashing”, and “beating that shit up” are all rape culture language because consensual sex demands mutual enthusiasm and these words doesn’t reflect that
When you are autistic, your flattened affect will cause people to perceieve that you don't feel emotions as deeply as they do. This causes you to regard your own, normal emotions with suspicion, and to develop a kind of pathological "honesty" about their perceived insufficiency
There are people who get annoyed and complain about me talking about the abuse I went through. People who claim to be healers and spiritual leaders, yet want survivors to stay silent. And I used to let it get to me, but I always remember that there are women like this who appreciate me and my courage to always speak up, and how it’s helped them along their path of healing as well. Focus more on the love and strength and ignore the ones who wish to shame you into silence.
wanting victims to heal bc u can’t stand to hear their criticisms of the world is the same bullshit fake kindness of “please go to therapy” go fuck urselves lol
one of the weird surprises of being a neurodivergent teenager who speaks very precisely is realizing that better vocabulary doesn’t necessarily make communication easier. sometimes it creates a completely different misunderstanding. you choose a specific word because you’re trying to remove ambiguity, explain exactly what you mean and avoid being misunderstood, only for someone to hear your vocabulary and assume you’re showing off or talking down to them. meanwhile you’re standing there thinking, “i literally chose that word because it was the most accurate one.” apparently being precise can become its own social problem when people interpret the way you communicate instead of what you’re actually communicating.
