Did you catch the last name In our song Giant Womxn? Its German poet May Ayim. “ She highlights the continuity of the Black experience—not only her own, but those before her as well.”
"The lyrical wit and bouncingly buoyant eclecticism of so many moments makes this album confrontational and compelling in equal measure."
@screamintoenail's debut album 'Growth' reviewed by Julie Riley of @IamHERlondon for LOUD WOMEN

@blakkbatman It’s pretty cringe tbh. The writer is a black woman but I think she wrote it more as a children’s story. Visually and conceptually interesting tho.
“Growth is truly a soundtrack to our times; starkly reminding us that on returning to ‘normality’, we need to create a new normal.” Reviews like this give us hope to keep making music despite it being dangerous for us to meet in person.
"Propelled by an impassioned cathartic rage, its raw power immerses the listener in its striking, empowering message...Truly a soundtrack to our times."
I struggled to word just how important (and cute) I think the new album from @screamintoenail is 🖤
FUCK YES! we love @dividedissolve so much do not mug yourself off by sleeping on this decolonial doom duo whose music is healing on an ancestral level ✨

Divide and Dissolve have quickly become one of my favourite bands. They're incredibly heavy and they're decolonising the genre one record at a time. Y'all need this on your lives
