Just had a glass of wine with lunch now I have to have a financial discussion. Think I'll let my husband handle it. I'll just nod along and pretend I know what's going on. Terrible behavior, I know, but being a responsible adult is not in the cards for me today.
@RealJamesWoods The people who voted for Bass probably either worked for the guvmint or were on welfare. They're not stupid, they're selfish. I don't know when it's going to occur to them that they're destroying the goose that laid the Golden State. There'll be nothing for them soon.
@MichelleMaxwell IMO, 2/3 of the voters in CA either work for the guvmint and get welfare from the guvmint. And they're all Dem. The 1/3 that pays for everything is leaving. We can't beat the Dem machine. Not looking good.
Took our walk around the lake and voted. Nice day for it. Lotuses are starting to bloom, goslings have grown up and people are using the exercise equipment. Far cry from when the homeless took over. No more rapes, murders, or drug deals. Bathrooms are still locked, I think.
Heard Act II of Wagner's Ring Cycle last night. Boy, there were some big ol' girls with magnificent voices. "Eat like horses, sing like birds." Nice staging but it was warm in the theater so both Gordon and I nodded off. Lots of singing, 3 min of action at the end.
@maestromusing We heard a toyohotoy when she came out with her spear. Giggled about the horst thought with Gordon. Also wondered if they had to 'fly' her. Take some major cables.
Mushroom factor has started. Windows guys came to measure and found termite damage. Now we have to get a contractor to fix all that BEFORE the windows get installed. Have to have the house tented too. Feel tired just thinking about it.
Took Katy in for her shots today. She's in good shape. I think she thought we were sending her back to the factory. The only time she's in a cat box is to go to a new shelter. But she didn't raise a claw. She was glad to get home. Starting to appreciate Katy Kat.
She left the city to marry a small-town boy. Will she survive blizzards, his family, and other natural disasters? Readers' Favorite says, “…utterly compulsive reading, fast-paced and full of action...I guarantee you’ll laugh your way through it. 5 stars.” https://t.co/wJhWkw0MTs
A feminine Candide leaves her sheltered, small-town life to seek the best of all possible worlds. But Los Angeles? Seriously? Reader’s Favorite gives Marianne Moves On 5 stars and calls it “…a lovely story of growth and communication.” https://t.co/1WuEilRnwb
