When the critical powers-that-be, in the visual arts, made “critical theory” the center of art theory, the critical powers committed to the end of their reign as the “powers-that-be”.
@Dropbox why is your app structured to avoid lower priced payment plans? Why, when I attempt to manage my account and delete files is it not lowering the storage amount.

The most interesting housing market in America: Austin.
During the '00s housing crash, it took Austin 43 months to fall 8.5% peak-to-trough.
This time around, Austin has fallen 10.02% in just 9 months. https://t.co/Idv6ltSIvk
Former Pussycat Dolls member Jessica Sutta discusses the adverse effects she experienced after receiving the Moderna mRNA vaccine:
"I'm vaccine injured by the Moderna vaccine. Three days later, after my first shot, my life has not been the same. It's been two years of hell. I feel like I'm dying every single day... Anyone injured out there - https://t.co/7sSkGXwH3v. We love you. Text “REACT” to 50155. You are loved. Your voice matters."
I love that so much of art is about balance. I think the Creator of this world we inhabit is about balance and I think it’s one of the innate qualities of making art to reflect this reality of balance.
Nothing that follows is against church.
I’m seeing articles about “de-churching” and getting people to come back. One might suppose that if this becomes the focus of the church said people will likely never return.
The parable of the prodigal is not about a return to church.
But this applies to adults too. We have to have creative output. We can’t just binge watch stuff and go to work. Work May or may not empty the creative tank. If it does, good for you. If it doesn’t, find an outlet and pour out those ideas in a creative way.
Don’t over-do it on intake of content. You have to create and empty the tank too. If you have kids, teach them this to the best of your ability. If they have a day wherein they’re heavy on watching shows, make sure they spend a few hours drawing and creating and playing the next.
Big wins today over Churchill for both our JV & Varsity Lady Hornets! We must tip our hats to @DawgsSports on a great game! Excellent pitching by stud @maggieking2025 best of luck to y’all this season! 💚💙
And perhaps, it makes the statement: “I have to make this because whether I profess it or not, I know in the fibers of my being, that “someone” out there, sees and understands.”
THIS, in my opinion, is why the act of creating is a fulfilling act even apart from critical success.
1/ Is it psychologically imperative that humans understand that they can only ever be truly understood and known by God?
I think so. And this leads me to believe that artists do what they do because they are expressing that understanding in the act of creating.
…
What does that mean? I think it means that artists make a metaphysical statement (for lack of a better phrase) with the act of creating. It’s as if we are saying, even if no one truly understands what I am making, I have to do it. It is a language that only I can speak…
I support this rant. Drag events with children is an intensely disturbing form of child abuse. It needs to stop immediately and artists need to fulfill their role, be the canary in the coal mine, and paint it as the demonic trash that it is.
