The first round of remediation has been distributed; funds the white hats recovered.

25,214,717.71 BLND and 201,805.65 USDC were paid to 510 recipients, based proportionally on positions just before the exploit on 25 August at 03:50 UTC.

For accounts that could not receive the assets directly, a claimable balance has been created.

Blend V2.1 is a fork of Blend V2 with an updated Comet V1.1 AMM as the backstop token. Put simply, Blend V2.1 brings back a functional backstop. Blend V2.1 will not earn emissions unless an emissions migration occurs.

Blend V2.1 uses the same audited Blend V2 contracts.
The only change is switching to Comet V1.1 as the new backstop token.

Comet V1.1 introduces these changes:
- Fix the swap accounting bug detailed in https://t.co/d2Uoe5YeJk
- Remove gulp to prevent accounting mistakes from being exploitable
- Fix minor rounding issues which were not exploitable, to improve accuracy

There is an ongoing incident with the BLND-USDC liquidity pool on Comet.

There is no issue with Blend contracts and funds deposited into Blend pools are not at risk.
