Some of the players have been nice enough to chime in on some of our posts about the 1988 @Mets & the message I received was if Randall K Myers comes in for the 9th in Game 4 #Mets never go back to @Dodgers Stadium & then steamroll the @Athletics in WS.

Straw & Mcreynolds were top 5 in MVP and despite what happened in the future Gregg Jefferies was one of 10 best @MLB players at THAT MOMENT in fall of 1988.
@20Hojo had a hurt shoulder so “only” 24HR that season.
Losing Bobby Ojeda was big because he was a CALMING influence for that group. Big game pitcher that seemed to come up big when needed most.
