Caught Akira in 4K at my local cinema on the weekend. I first saw it as a teen when my mum's friend, whose house we were visiting, sat me on the sofa (clearly I was bored), put it on and left me to it. She must have thought it was just a regular cartoon...🤯

@JosephKahn They could insist on releasing it on disc before streaming. Maybe make it a boutique release first and, if demand is there, print more. Truth is a lot of people are willing to wait a few years to see most movies, unless it's a cultural phenomenon or demands a big screen.
