Ascribe to the LORD glory,
worship him.
The voice of the LORD over the waters,
thunders, flashes fire,
powerful, majestic.
It breaks cedars, moves mountains,
births deer, strips forests;
all cry, “Glory!”
He reigns over all forever;
give us strength, peace!
#Psalm29
Rejoice! Put no confidence in the flesh. I have reason to, but count all as rubbish to gain Christ, righteous through faith, so I can rise again.
I don't have this yet, but press on to the prize. Imitate me. Many are earthly-minded. We, heavenly, wait for Jesus.

#Isaiah61#OneVerseSummary
“to grant to those who mourn in Zion—
to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit;
that they may be called oaks of righteousness…” - Isaiah 61:3
God is on me
to preach liberty and his favor;
to give gladness for mourning.
As oaks, they’ll rebuild ruins.
Nations will serve you
as honored priests.
I’ll reward them;
they’ll be known as blessed.
Praise God for salvation;
he’ll make righteousness sprout.
#Isaiah61
You Gentiles were once separated from God’s covenants to Israel. Now Christ’s blood has brought you near. He unified Gentile and Jew, abolishing the law, reconciling us both to God.
