At 40, Franz Kafka (1883-1924), who never married and had no children, walked through the park in Berlin when he met a girl who was crying because she had lost her favourite doll. She and Kafka searched for the doll unsuccessfully. Kafka told her to meet him there the next day and they would come back to look for her.
The next day, when they had not yet found the doll, Kafka gave the girl a letter “written” by the doll saying “please don’t cry. I took a trip to see the world. I will write to you about my adventures.”
Thus began a story which continued until the end of Kafka’s life.
During their meetings, Kafka read the letters of the doll carefully written with adventures and conversations that the girl found adorable.
Finally, Kafka brought back the doll (he bought one) that had returned. “It doesn’t look like my doll at all,“ said the girl.
Kafka handed her another letter in which the doll wrote: "my travels have changed me.” the little girl hugged the new doll and brought her happy home.
A year later Kafka died. Many years later, the now-adult girl found a letter inside the doll. In the tiny letter signed by Kafka it was written:
“Everything you love will probably be lost, but in the end, love will return in another way.”
This is a truly terrific ad, by the agency 'All In'! The writing is razor sharp, building the mystery steadily, with brilliantly apt use of Radhika Gupta, Edelweiss Mutual Fund's CEO. The mystery piles on one after another, in service of Edelweiss Mutual Fund even as the ending lands beautifully! Outstanding work!

Medusa is one of the most misunderstood feminine archetypes.
History framed her as a villain.
But look closer.
Before she was a monster, she was a woman harmed. Before she was feared, she was silenced. Before her gaze turned men to stone, she had already been turned into a symbol.
And yet she endures.
Medusa represents the moment a woman stops being accessible to those who exploit her softness.
Her snakes are not chaos.
They are awareness.
They are instinct.
They are the nervous system that has learned.
Her gaze is not cruelty.
It is boundary.
In dark feminine work, Medusa is the archetype of trauma transmuted into protection. The version of you that once felt exposed and now refuses to be violated emotionally, spiritually, physically.
When you stop over-explaining.
When you stop giving second chances that cost you peace.
When you stop shrinking to appear non-threatening.
People may call you cold.
People may call you intimidating.
People may call you “too much.”
But often, what they mean is:
You are no longer easy to control.
Medusa energy does not seek revenge.
It embodies consequence.
If someone approaches with disrespect, they meet the stone of your standard. If someone approaches with manipulation, they meet the stillness of your refusal.
She teaches that you are allowed to protect your softness fiercely.
You are allowed to turn your pain into power.
You are allowed to become untouchable in the areas that once wounded you.
Medusa is not the story of a curse.
She is the story of what happens when a woman’s survival instinct becomes sacred.
And there is nothing monstrous about that.

@jk_rowling Your writing is still casting #spells on 11-year olds! My younger one just finished the last book in the series, & he has been enthralled, tickled, mesmerised & moved to tears, reading, discussing and savouring them all, pretty much the same way I did all those years ago!
@snooker_san Hahahahaaaa! I knowwww the angst of bankers' partners on 31st Dec... waiting for their better halves (grimpy n grouchy) to come home and welcome the new year together!
My 8-year old had a school #project on leading #NGOs, and I spent a bit of time wowing him with details about the fab @NanhiKali initiative! (Throwback to the first time I had heard of this at @mahindra_insure circa 2005-07.)
Neil (my adorable 8-year old): I'm the only Baby in this house, Mommy! Your baby!
Me: But once you have a gf, will you still be my Baby or hers?
Neil: Errr... you do know you can always call me "son," right?
Subtle. Real subtle. #TekeTerrors#kidsnowadays
My little men do the cutest little things. In the last 2 years, they have been trying to teach me all about their @Minecraft world, and here's why I couldn't be happier: https://t.co/flm8un6pkg
