Got a new background for my battle system, and thought I would try a system to randomize the layout a bit for each battle. Very rough right now but palette swapping is working. #screenshotsaturday
This week I have been working on the dex for my monster catching game. After a few more commissions I should have all the sprites I need by the end of the month #screenshotsaturday
Spent this week designing and commissioning the final set of monsters I want for my game. Threw together this tool I'm using to preview potential teams. #screenshotsaturday
Also if you are looking to do pooled scroll rects in Unity (like for lists with hundreds of items) I would reccomend this free asset: https://t.co/P5qnut65qu It is the best of the three free solutions I found
Another one of my infinite side projects. A gamified Todolist like Habitica where completing ToDos earns you currency that you use to obtain and power up monsters. Implemented a dynamic scrolling list for viewing all your "Todomon".
Updated the public build of my Pokemon Style Map Generator to include some visual improvements (nicer trees and rocks) and to give you the ability to actually run around the generated region and encounter monsters. #screenshotsaturday
Was bored today so messed around with my proc gen map generator some more. Swapped out the old trees with the new ones I've been using from @el_espriteador
More work on the level editor. Added saving, importing and exporting so you can make complex levels now. I made a level I thought might look cool but it turned out to be too easy #screenshotsaturday
Finished the rough draft of the intro city for my monster catching game. This section of the city serves as a short intro to walking around and interacting with NPCs, and a place to optionally learn more lore. #screenshotsaturday#indiedev#fakemon
@theyobby Hey sorry about that, just skip that level. Open the pause menu and hit the "Skip Level" button. There was supposed to be an update that fixed that issue, gonna talk to the Switch developer about that because apparently it didn't get pushed (I thought it did).
