@JacksonjokerArt This is Frances Bell. She is a contemporary figure painter that specializes in oil paint. I believe she hails from England and is currently my favorite figure painter. You can tell she is greatly inspired by John Singer Sargent. Notice her attention to edges, soft and hard.

@JacksonjokerArt Mark Rothko. One of his paintings from the “Seagram Murals.” These are kept at the Tate in London. Rumor has it, after he discovered the prices of the food in the restaurant, he refused to sell them, and shortly after took his own life. These paintings vibrate!
