I was deep in building my app when it hit me, how am I even gonna market this very niche idea on TikTok?
Then I stumbled on @scrolldotshow and honestly? It helped me crack the marketing side before the app is even finished 😅
Game changer for content discovery + virality analytics.
just took out @scrolldotshow for a spin and mightly impressed with the product and the harness
solves lot of bottlenecks with the content discovery and virality analytics for slideshows
looking forward to future upgrades and enhancements
We've been doing mostly SEO and email marketing so far, so this quarter I'm testing TikTok, Instagram and Pinterest as new distribution channels for our businesses.
Which mostly meant scrolling for hours and saving posts I'd never look at again. X algorithm suddenly showed me a new tool called @scrolldotshow
It found the slideshow accounts actually winning in the niches I care about, pulled their best posts, and broke down why they worked. I literally got few unique content ideas in the first sitting.
I am not affiliated with it, but if you want to save some serious time and effort, you should check it out once.
I had the chance yesterday to try @rsalimx tool Scroll Show and I can only recommend giving it a try if you too struggle with creating viral content for your app. In his article he describes his process in detail including how to distribute the final slideshow.
His tool is what will safe you a huge amount of time. It connects flawlessly to Claude Code so your agent can control and evaluate the found slideshows.
You only tell your agent to use the new MCP and describe your app and it will start scraping TikTok for the best slideshow accounts that show repeated high views. You need to log into an existing TikTok account and it needs to be one that was really used by a human otherwise TikTok will slow down your search a lot.
For anyone who isn't from the TikTok generation and needs to create viral content this is an absolute game changer because it runs the search automatically and presents you the results.
Additionally the license is a one time payment which is super fair in my opinion.
So far I can say the results it found for my apps look perfect, now I have to replicate the found patterns into my own content. That step is unfortunately still you job.
The tool works really great. I found super examples for my app.
I rarely recommend a product but this one is really a clever solution and really does the job.

i've seen a ton of people on my feed with gym apps.
so here, take this gift. it's the best distribution machine you can build for a utility app.
first, build a brand account and lock in a visual style that's yours. same character, same colors, same layout every single time. like the account below.
then you never stop posting. every single day, no exceptions.
every slide gives them a tip on some body part, but the real answer, the actual routine, the tracking, lives inside your app. they can look, but they can't finish without downloading it.
here's what i love about b2c: there's basically no competition.
it doesn't matter how many apps look like yours. the moment a user sees your name and your logo enough times, they go straight to yours in the app store. nobody else's.
now here's where it compounds.
make 5 accounts. same style, slightly varied so tiktok doesn't flag them as copies.
when a user engages with one, the algorithm starts feeding them the others too. same brand, same product, over and over across their whole feed.
your conversion doesn't add up. it multiplies. x5, x10, however many accounts you're running.
we drop way more sauce like this in the discord. link below ⬇️
i've seen hundreds of tiktok slideshow accounts running this exact format and pulling millions of views each.
here's why it works so well.
from the very first slide you're promising them a shortcut. a hack, a better way to do something they're already doing wrong.
that's it. that's the hook.
the brain can't leave a shortcut unopened, so they sit through the entire thing waiting for the payoff.
look at the view counts on these 👇
10.8M. 6.4M. 6.7M. same character, same layout, same promise, over and over.
don't sleep on this format. especially if you have a utility app.
your product is literally the shortcut. you just have to show it to them.
this app is doing $40k mrr and 3,000+ downloads a day across ios and android.
here's the exact playbook, and it costs them nothing.
they run 30+ accounts all spamming the identical format.
1. they pick a problem anyone can physically have in their day to day
2. they build a slideshow: problem → solution
3. the solution is always their app
that's it. that's the whole thing.
this format is pulling 200 million views every 30 days.
the only real job a founder has now is making sure the app is EVERYWHERE. mentioned over and over until people can't scroll without seeing it.
you have three ways to do that:
- hire UGC creators
- run ads
- ride the reach slideshows are printing right now
the first two need capital. real capital, enough to actually move the needle.
the third one is free.
and it is not one bit less effective.
so if you're sitting there with no distribution, that's a choice you're making.
volume beats perfection. every single time.
this is what i call slideshows maxxing 🌟
okay. this is fucking insane.
a virality farm to grow your app through TikTok slideshows.
I would gatekeep this. but fuck it. here's the full playbook.
open Instagram. doom scroll. focus only on content related to your app niche.
find the accounts that are printing views. save them.
now open Manus. connect it to Instagram, Chrome, and your Notion.
pick one of the accounts you saved. copy the link of their most viral videos. paste it into Manus.
explain your app extremely well. then tell it you want to grow a TikTok account using only slideshows to promote your app.
here's where it gets insane.
Meta owns Manus. and Manus has an absurdly deep access to Reels content. it doesn't just read the copy. it studies the visuals, the pacing, the structure of what made that video work.
then it adapts all of it to your app. copy, visuals, slideshow format. all ready for you to build on Canva and post.
now tell Manus to prepare 7 posts. tell it to navigate to the account, always find the most viral videos, adapt them to your app, and leave everything organized in Notion. set it as a recurring task.
you wake up. open Notion. your content is ready. a full week of content. done.
you're not creating content from scratch. you're taking what already works and making it yours.
I've seen hundreds of apps making crazy revenue only from TikTok slideshows.
distribution is no longer the bottleneck. it never had to be.
you are the bottleneck of your own app
in this era you can sell literally anything through social media.
this guy runs a physical business and is printing through tiktok slideshows
and you still haven't figured out how to promote your app
work harder
millions of views.
thousands of sales on amazon.
this is exactly what i meant when i said the bottleneck is you.
the way products get built has changed.
if you want something to hit, you have to know where your ICP gathers
then engineer it so that exact place can't stop talking about your product 🫠
i found the perfect example to prove that anything designed to go viral, spreads.
she writes fictional gen z conversation books that punch you right in the feelings.
her entire promotion? slideshows. that's it.
then i got a question in my discord:
"how do you guys put your app demos in the slideshows?"
(btw if you're reading this, no shade at all, just making a point lol)
that's the exact moment it clicked.
the architecture you grew up with is dead.
you don't build the product and figure out distribution later.
you pick the platform.
you figure out how it gets promoted there.
then you reverse-engineer the product from that.
you're not building products anymore.
you're building distribution that happens to have a product attached.
been saying this
the people sleeping on tiktok slideshows in 2026 are going to regret it, you don't need to go infront of camera,
just a pinterest image + overlay
then spam at least 4 a day
total costs ~ $0
this app is pulling hundreds of thousands of views on tiktok and it's literally just ai avatars in mirror selfies with text slapped on top 😭😭
nano banana for the pic, canva for the text, that's it
how to copy this format:
1. go on pinterest, search mirror selfie poses. save a few you like
2. open nano banana or gpt-image-2, prompt an avatar in that same mirror pose. generate a before and after of the same character
3. throw both into canva side by side, add your hook as big text on top
4. post to tiktok with a trending sound
the pics don't even need to be that good. the hook does most of the work
genuinely cannot think of a single reason why an indie dev wouldn't try this.
no ad budget. no studio. no team. no influencer deals.
just a phone, TikTok, and the willingness to post every day.
the barrier to entry is basically zero.
and yet 99% of founders are still sitting on a product with no distribution, wondering why growth is slow.
you don't need to go viral. you need one format that works and the discipline to repeat it.
that's it. that's the whole game.
this account hit 2.2 million views in less than 2 months. 😭
16 slideshows. no app. no product. just an email in the bio. 🫠
if they had an app in this niche, they'd realistically have added $2k MRR already.
and a lot of you have apps in this exact niche. doing nothing with it.
here's what's actually working with slideshows right now:
start building a personality around what your app does. create a character. a lifestyle. an identity people want to be part of.
that's the format that's printing views. find your version of it. then spam it.
nah this is crazy 💀
1 million views. $20k revenue. last month alone.
100% AI-generated content + Pinterest.
this is "Vent Now" a mental health app. 10.4K followers. and they're absolutely printing.
here's exactly what they're doing:
→ create a persona
→ find a viral format
→ adapt it to their niche
→ don't always promote the app — out of every 10 posts: 5 are pure growth content, 3 are soft promo, 2 are direct promo
→ then sell the app like it's just another tip
that last point is what most founders get wrong. they go straight for the sell. these guys built trust first. now every post that mentions the app converts.
what a time to be alive 😭
i don't know why you're not doing this.
this app gonna make a lot of people uncomfortable 😳💀
$20k revenue. 2 million views. last month alone.
it shows sexual positions. you scratch the screen to reveal them. that's the entire product.
and they're promoting it through a "fun girl" TikTok page. summer plans. things she wants to try. places she wants to go. the kind of content that makes you hit follow instantly.
and then, the app.
and the numbers don't lie.
this is what's winning right now. not the most ethical product. not the most complex. just the best distribution.
the rules of the game are in distribution. not in the product.
build something people actually want. or watch someone else get rich doing it instead of you
3.6 million views. $20k revenue. last month alone 😮💀
one format. posted every single day.
while you're overthinking your product, this app found ONE viral slideshows format in their niche and just kept repeating it.
here's the question that'll change everything:
"if the top accounts in my niche were promoting my app, would it still be under $10k MRR?"
if the answer is no
> you just found your entire marketing strategy.
don't copy them. reverse engineer why it works.
adapt it to your product. post daily. the only way this doesn't work is if you stop.
this app hit $9k/month in under 2 months 😭
just slideshows on tiktok pulling millions of views/month
distribution has never been easier
tikTok is pushing slideshows hard rn, even low-effort posts get distribution
the playbook
1. find accounts in your niche
2. study their format & pacing
3. copy the structure
4. post daily & engage
thats it, you're out of excuses
