Preservation, Documentation & Promotion of Tribal Cultural Heritage
A significant step towards preserving and promoting India’s rich tribal cultural heritage as the Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA) and Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The partnership will strengthen efforts to document, preserve and showcase tribal languages, oral traditions, arts, music, crafts, customary practices and traditional knowledge.
It will also create wider platforms for tribal artists, artisans, scholars and traditional knowledge holders through exhibitions, publications, digital museums and cultural festivals.

"AI could never” because these creations are shaped by hands, not prompts.
Every weave, every brushstroke, every stitch reflects years of practice, inherited knowledge, and a deep connection to tribal traditions. What we witnessed was not just craftsmanship it was the dedication of artisans who continue to preserve India’s cultural heritage through their work.
The reel captures moments from the artisans who brought these traditions to life, reminding us that the value of handmade craft lies in the people behind it.
