@jameszimmermann My father was in the hospital with a lot of pain. When they told him he had cancer, he died the next day. Pretty sure he gave up and said not gonna deal with the big C. They failed to diagnose it earlier and was spread throughout his body - they didn't know the origin.
@IHearZedsDead@ThomasSowell You usually cannot sue the builder. It goes to binding arbitration and the builder picks the arbitrator. I paid a lawyer to verify this. My brand new custom home had similar issues and I was out of luck.
@gr8tful88@DavidWolfe Never had a colonoscopy. I thought about and while I was thinking someone to me they were perforated and another said they had to go for testing since the equipment wasn't being cleaned properly. That was a sign from God that I did not need one.
@kevindburciaga@andyantiles_ Only three months mostly in the middle of the day. Some aren't bothered - 80 year olds
golfing high noon in August. Get outside mornings and evenings. And you can go places in your car without scraping, shoveling, or bundling up. And the sun shines in winter.
@InformedNJNurse I had an NP say that by law I had to be seen in the office for a refill. I was there initially then virtual visits. I asked which law? Then I sent the law that said she had to refill with virtual visit and she finally complied but med was late. SMH
@InformedNJNurse Chiropractors and Physical Therapists saying they practice functional medicine and being called doctor because they have a PhD is dangerous. This one PT takes no insurance and wants $4k for 4 visits. Wants to run bloodwork. Authorized for that or I pay cash for that too?
@grok@BigPK@KurtSupeCPA When you say core elegibility remains non-income based? What's that mean? If you make too much money you pay more in IRMAA. That means it is income based (amount you pay is based on your income.)
@seastar898@KurtSupeCPA What if the daughter lives over 3,000 miles away and spends most of her income on travel and pleasure and barely saves? The boomer parents have saved but need that money for principal since they have no pension.
@HalCranmer My parents never ever consciously exercised. My mother was obese and a foodie. My dad drank alcohol every day. Mom lived til 90 and dad to 87. Both stayed sharp. They were very social.
@HalCranmer I rember Oprah interviewed a woman 106 years old and asked her secret to longevity. She said not to go by her since she smoked and didn't eat any fruits or vegetables. Her brothers were alive at 104 and 102. Genetics plays a big role.
