@thameswater flooding sewage into the park on the school run again. Children, the elderly, dog walkers all have to walk through human waste daily. How long before a public health emergency?

@whobloghughblog@JessTheJessJess@thameswater@EnvAgency@PublicHealthEng@stellacreasy @GracieMaeW Another rain shower, another layer of public health risking sewage onn the path to the park on the way to schools and homes. No good putting a barrier around the cover if it just flows down to where everyone has to walk! No way round the poo!

@thameswater solution to their daily deposits of raw sewage across the path to the park appears to be sending some unfortunate operatives with big brooms! Does @EnvAgency endorse this method of human waste disposal?!

@thameswater All the details you need are right there Zane, a link to the location, photo and video of what's happening, a description. What further details would you need?
Today's #flood of @thameswater#sewage flowing into Lloyd Park #E17 no end in sight for our dangerous daily flow of pollution. Any ideas from @stellacreasy, @wfcouncil or @EnvAgency on holding them to account for risking public health daily?

@thameswater You don't need further details Zain, this is a daily flood of raw sewage that @thameswater is aware of but doing nothing to stop. Reports via your official channels get closed without resolving the cause. It's not just heavy rain, it happens with fairly normal seasonal rain too.
Hey @PrivateEyeNews check out @thameswater high tech effluent re-routing systems π§Ή
My twitter feed is, appropriately, a daily stream of filth. Need an E17 open sewer correspondent? Feel free to reuse glamorous turd shots CC0

@thameswater I'd really like to be kept updated with your plans to resolve the underlying issue that causes this overflow every rainy day year round @thameswater. It's been happening for well over a year now. @wfcouncil any ideas?
@thameswater spilling raw sewage at the entrance to Lloyd Park for the second time in a week. They say there's nothing they can do to stop it, so who holds them accountable? @stellacreasy@EnvAgency ?
Children have to walk to school through this!
@JessTheJessJess@thameswater If only there was a company who owned the infrastructure who could fix the drainage and sewer system instead of cleaning the mess and waiting for the next time. Know anyone @thameswater ?
So far the only solution to @thameswater spilling sewage into the park every day is barriers so families on their way to school wade through the shallow sewage and when it stops raining there are fewer (but not zero) human faeces in that area.
@wfcouncil@stellacreasy ?!
@virtualstephen Same shit different day. Children going to school through overflowing sewage in Lloyd park. (W3W ropes.wooden.tree) This is not a new problem @thameswater!!!! "Heavy rain" is not a good enough response!!
