@shovelclaws I seriously only started speedrunning dishonored because I loved the game so much and I wanted more content to get out of it, and if I wasnt welcome in that community despite being a annoying 14 year old, Id probably just be some kid complaining about apex and cod on twitter rn
@shovelclaws and having an experience like that is how I learned to mature, being around people more knowledgeable than me, smarter, more skilled and older than me, which made it easy to fit in, and it was the first time I was ever interested in speedrunning
@shovelclaws People shouldnt be afraid to be a bother when they join a community, resources are pinned, tutorial is here, help is here, and part of making a community is growing it, wether new individuals or a community as a whole doesnt reciprocate your personality traits
@shovelclaws i mean your tone is marginalizing everyone who isnt your friend by calling them "normies", as someone who used to sometimes be a grumpy asshole to randoms who joined the server, Im afraid that ive made a community where people arent welcome to learn or become part of it
