Yesterday was a good day for Pneucons. A lot of genuine people found out what we are doing and how we are building a global marketplace across 195+ countries and territories.

Trolls I will leave aside. We are going to keep building. It is a long journey and there is a lot of work ahead.

A few things people were curious about.

Pneucons runs an open marketplace. Sellers control their own pricing, inventory and margins. We make sure they get paid on time, so we collect payment from buyers in advance on their behalf.

We are a transaction first model. We act as one more revenue channel for SMEs and MSMEs doing under 100 Cr, without adding the cost of marketing, discovery or operations. Sellers get direct orders, not leads or follow ups. Every order comes with full customer data, and the seller's own invoice goes to the buyer.

Sellers pay a small subscription to list, plus 0.5% per transaction on the price they set. Same for every seller in every category. Full pricing is at https://t.co/mZMarPh9Bf.

For buyers, payment is held until the goods are received. Seller gets paid only after that. Guaranteed fulfilment or 100% money back, and a GST invoice with every order. We charge nothing from buyers.

We protect both sides of the transaction and cut the noise before money changes hands. Leads, enquiries, follow ups, proformas, chasing buyers for payment, chasing vendors for dispatch. That is where most of the time in industrial trade goes, and none of it is the actual business. Serious businesses that want to grow use Pneucons to skip all of it. A buyer finds the product, pays, and gets it. A seller gets the order, ships, and gets paid. Nothing in between.

We are proud of building a transaction first marketplace from India for the world. The whole journey is on this timeline for anyone who wants to look.

One of the most memorable things about my conversation with our PM was the attention to detail that he showed towards my website

He could have easily asked me some simple, fluffy questions and it would have still been something that I would remember for the rest of my life

But thru his questions it was clearly visible that he had personally seen the site, explored its various facets and had experienced its various features.

Which is incredibly.

Becsuse, He didn't have to.

And given that he is the leader of a billion people and of one of the most important countries in the world, it would have been understandable.

But he still did.

It is this meticulousness, attention to detail and thoroughness that has made him the person he is today. This is why he is a leader par excellence.

It is an incredibly special feeling for me, knowing that the piddly little website I developed as a hobby over the weekend, was personally seen by the PM himself.

And it also makes us look sad, if going forward we say stuff like, "I am busy, I don't have time" etc, etc.

If Modiji, the PM of India can take out time and look at a website, who the hell are we.

The Hindi audience dint know Prabhas before Bahubali , they dint know Rishab before Kantara , I dint know Brando before Godfather..Maybe he was a star before in his films A street car named desire , on the water front etc ..I don’t know if they released in india also .. That’s because those films made them big stars and not the other way around ..Hollywood always spends big on concept films and not on stars ..Even directors like Nolan use names only for their acting prowess and not to depend on their stardom ..We all know whether it’s Oppenheimer or Odyssey , they would work as much irrespective of who’s in it
Coming back to the subject of Allu , it’s only highly egotistic people who will take his statement personally on such a general well meaning thought ..Actually this kind of reaction also explains why they are making what they are making

I strongly believe that there is no greater cinematic spectacle than an actor performing in a tight close up. Sets, locations, VFX all pale in comparison because a close up is the only place on the screen where cinema cannot lie.
A Vfx palace can be built. A city can be dressed. An explosion can be painted in. But a face cannot be. The moment the lens sits two feet from an actor and refuses to look away, every other film department becomes redundant. You are no longer watching production design. You are watching a thought arrive, a feeling expressed. That is spectacle. Not scale. Not a man walking in silhouette in slow motion through fire.
The close up is where performance stops being “acting” and becomes being. A flicker before the line. A swallow after it. The half second when the eyes decide whether to attack or retreat. That is more spectacle than any production designed set because it cannot be hired, cannot be storyboarded, and cannot be saved in post.
If the actor has nothing inside, the frame becomes a vacant. If the actor has something inside, the frame becomes a scene.
On the other hand, fake and unrelatable expressions are worse than being vacant . Vacancy is only absence.
The tears that arrive on cue, the tremors that were decided rather than felt , the expressions that belong to no one turn the close up into a distortion of emotion. it contaminates the scene, the character, and finally the film. No score, no edit cut, no production design can restore belief after the one thing cinema should not fake has been faked.
A tight close up is also the most democratic shot in cinema. It does not care about the budget behind the actor. It only cares whether there is a feeling in there. That is why even a two crore film can destroy a 100 crore film. The expensive film has already spent its money on everything except the one thing , the audience actually came to see which is a living human being expressing a real feeling
Everything else is decoration around the face. And that is because THE FACE IS THE FILM
