did kimi k3 really edit its own launch video?

so i came across a post claiming that kimi k3 had supposedly edited the entire video for its own launch and people instantly believed it. I was reading all of this with the biggest 🫠 face cuz everything you see in the k3 launch film is literally screaming full scale physical production.

and @_studioarchive the production studio behind the film confirmed this themselves on X k3 was not used to create the film. the studio developed the concept, shot it and edited it themselves

videos i’ve been obsessed from the French creative studio [UNVEIL] based in • Paris

what keeps bringing me back to their work is the level of creative and strategic thinking behind every film. nothing feels aesthetic for the sake of being aesthetic. every decision is rooted in research, every frame serves the brand, and each project develops its own visual language rather than relying on trends.

one of the things that makes unveil so interesting is that ai is one of their core creative tools. they integrate it into every project, not as a gimmick but as a natural part of their creative process.

their campaign for Salomon is probably my fav example. everything surrounding the athlete was generated with ai while the model was filmed in a studio. the execution is so clean that you stop thinking about how it was made and simply experience the film.

the project was presented at the AI festival, where Runway was part of the jury and awarded it best commercial. i genuinely think it’s one of the most elegant, restrained and sophisticated ai campaigns i’ve ever seen. it’s a reminder that great ai work isn’t about showing what the technology can do, it’s about making people feel something.

5 months ago I started learning motion design and editing. 1 video could take me 2-3 weeks and sometimes it wouldn’t even get 5 likes

i remember i was sitting in starbucks, making the final edits to a video i had been working on for almost 3 weeks when my mac suddenly froze and shut down. Fun fact: this photo was taken just a few hours before . all of the project files were lost and the repair couldn’t recover them so i had to start over. while my mac was being repaired i tried editing at gaming cafe but their computers limited the ram available to non gaming software. So it was very slowly

my mac has crashed more than once, AE has frozen hundreds of times and I’ve dealt with failed renders, errors and lost files. i cried over it then swallowed it and kept editing kept going

i’m only at the beginning, but if you’re in the same place i was a few months ago feeling like no one notices your work - don’t stop. keep learning, keep creating and keep showing up.

you never know which project will be the one that reminds you why you started.
