I beat Yakuza 6. “Holy shit” is all I can say after seeing what happened throughout the story. Kiryu is top 5 MC’s in gaming. Dude. I’m moving on to Like a Dragon 1. I’m catching up to what I started during my time with the game in 2021. I’ll get to Like a Dragon Gaiden.

It was only a select few bosses that were annoying for no reason. I cakewalked the last few.

I’m really not enjoying the boss fights. They either deflect your one light attack or evade behind you and leave you vulnerable to an attack that is hard to face towards to block. At least the story is good. Can’t say anything good about the combat experience for elites/bosses.

. Block, do one light attack, maybe evade and do one light attack, trade hits, repeat the cycle. I get excited to play Yakuza in my free time but then I remember that I have to do the combat and sweat for every fight against elites/bosses

this is how I can survive boss fights on Hard in yakuza 6 because it's almost impossible to combo bosses without them stunning you or interrupting your attacks. The strat is just light attack spam, blocking, and evade attacking.

I don’t play fighting games. The combat is annoying sometimes in yakuza. Mind as well describe it as turn-based because you dodge an attack, and maybe one of your attacks land without them being blocked. Rush combos cant be finished. You can’t be aggressive since it’s counterable

Yakuza 5 was the longest game in the series that I've beaten. I did about 88% of the side content. I didn't bother with Saejima's hunting content. I started the game on August 13 and it took me a long time to complete it. But, I did it. Good game, good story. Time for Yakuza 6.
