Fraser-Cascade Schools Open for Agassiz and Hope Area Schools - December 15, 2025 Boston Bar- Elementary-Secondary Closed – December 15, due to road closures.

All Fraser-Cascade Schools Closed – December 11, 2025
All School District 78 (Fraser-Cascade) schools and facilities will be closed for all students and staff on Thursday, December 11, 2025, due to road closures on Highway 7, Highway 1, and Highway 9 as well as travel advisories.

There was a short lockdown @CoqSchool & @hopesecondary from 1:30-2:05.

The situation is under control. Students were kept safe inside the school while the RCMP were investigating.

Both schools have resumed regular routines. Pick up & busing will take place as normal.
