@ScrivenerApp Cool. I’ll have to use the index cards more. On a similar note, I’ve been changing the text icon (to a flag) for easy reference to chapters I’m working on.

@SeptimusBrown Nice!

[Scott Douglas Miner @sd_miner]

@SeptimusBrown original is great with bright tone and readability for text and seems good for a miniature frost dragon narrator.

@SeptimusBrown I like the way it was worked in the sample, both for the color and how it makes a good backdrop/contrast for text. It does have a lightness to it. So I might experiment with the source image, if I wanted a different feel, depending on the feel of the story.

@TristanEckerson Beautiful song, will also revisit it’s not ice

@DarlingAxe Good morning, I’m working on book III (in world). One task is bookmarking notes and transferring from journal to doc (scrivener @ScrivenerApp), either to a notes/scenes folder or directly into a chapter, where I’ll continue working. Have a great day!

@SeptimusBrown The line might be defined by interior or exterior motivation, which is to say:
Art is created for the artist. It can also have a huge market.
Commercial is production for the purpose of entering an active market and/or capitalizing on a social or entertainment trend.

[Scott Douglas Miner @sd_miner]

No, the word specificity isn’t in my everyday vocabulary, I could hardly pronounce it until now. It was deployed because I felt it epitomized the humor in the response. Was that wrong?

@DarlingReaders I finally realized that it’s a trick question, because specificity in the answer is still only an opinion that says things the good beta reader already knows — while a simple and obvious opinion is all that is required to satisfy the question. But why do that either?

@DeriveRetreat I’ve done something similar twice, each time writing novellas that connected to or overlapped the wip timeframe. (Different books)
