Gotta love when the flight is scheduled to leave in 10 mins and no-one's boarded and it's still showing as on time...
(Nudge nudge @Fly_Norwegian D83511)
I utterly condemn the far-right thuggery we have seen this weekend.
Be in no doubt: those who have participated in this violence will face the full force of the law.
To my friends across the UK who are understandably scared tonight, remember: the cowards rioting and looting are a tiny, idiotic minority who will wake up tomorrow petrified of the knock on the door that's coming. Sleep well knowing that they won't.
Not all people who voted Reform will be racist, but I bet all the racists voted for Reform; and if that's who you're willing to get into bed with, well what does that say about you?
@RichardPilot I understand, and I agree
For me, today is just all about getting the Tories out. Staunching the open wound, so things can have even a chance of healing
Even though that means waiting years until I can support my actual preferred local candidate
Roll on PR
@n00dles71 Saw someone get hit coming down the hill there the other day. Car pulling out of the side street by Bridge Yard, in front of a stopped bus (so no visibility on either side), T-boned the cyclist. Luckily just a "love tap", but driver was completely unapologetic
Hotels > @Airbnb, a horror story 🫠
It’s 2:30am in London. Flight delayed 3 hours. Raining.
I message our host that we’re going to miss the check in window. There’s a fee. Weird since it’s self check in, but ok
We get to the airbnb and the lockbox doesn’t work.
Rain, rain..
'There are serious issues at stake in this general election, and the Tories have just released nonsense figures with fake attribution and given it to newspapers who took it on trust. I’m really not sure that this will help their chances very much.'

@googlechrome is becoming seriously unusable now. Just tried to hire a car from a well known provider. Couldn't get the process to complete Chrome, worked first time in @firefox. And not the first time I've seen this with high quality professional websites
Everything they are doing to the NHS, they did to British Rail:
* Underfunded it
* Exhausted the service
* Got the public angry
* Then said privatisation is the solution
Please RT if you can see what is going on
@bbclaurak to Alexander the Great, as he stands weeping: "You say 'No more worlds to conquer', but do you think this can actually translate into real world success when it matters? Shouldn't you be worried? I mean if we consider the successes the Tories have had in the past..."
While I'm generally a fan of the @HalifaxBank Clarity Card for travelling, due to no foreign exchange charges, only having txt or call as a 2FA option makes it worse than useless for online transactions when abroad (with only WiFi)
@chase_uk experience is so much smoother there
