@TheAdrianDurham it’ll only get worse. TV audience (the only one that counts) now conditioned to accept regular long breaks in play, foundations already laid for in-play advertising during VAR reviews. 6 nations already doing this. Adverts = money = VAR reviews increasingly frequent and lengthy
@Rod_Studd 100% it’ll get worse. TV audience (the only one that counts) now conditioned to accept regular long breaks in play, foundations already laid for in-play advertising during VAR reviews. 6 nations already doing this. Adverts = money = VAR reviews increasingly frequent and lengthy
@GesLakin No. It’s not about Cunha, we need to planning ready for next season. What message would it send to those players who will be here next year. VP has put his trust in these players & must stand by them now. Play well and team wins you keep the shirt regardless.
@MrRyanLeister@TheWolvesReport@JacquiOatley@Nocky1982 2-part question: what benefit (if any) do you think we gain from our wing backs? What is the future for RAN - in terms of his position & potential transfer. Personally, I think he’s got too comfortable & has gone backwards. Who would look at him & think “that’s what we need”
@LiamKeen_Star We look so desperate in possession. No composure, no patience. O’Neil is understandably desperate to cling on to the job but I think this is evident in how we play - shit or bust!
@Craig_sysum@Twickets@TwicketsUK Somethings not right as I’ve been on the event page hitting refresh when the ticket has popped up 3 times today & on each occasion it’s being bought by someone else when I try to buy. Haven’t heard a single person on here say they’ve successfully purchased a ticket on Twickets.
@LeighArmst4396@Twickets Been like this for every ticket on @TwicketsUK today. Low availability pops up, click the event & nothing appears for 10 mins. Hammer refresh until the moment it appears on the event page, click buy & it’s being booked. It’s definitely not just you & it’s very frustrating!

@MrRyanLeister The images the VAR had access to at the time were most definitely inconclusive and so on-field decision stood. 5 mins later ITV showed an angle from one of their cameras which is the same as the above video. No idea why VAR can’t access every camera in the ground
@IanDarke Ian this incident is the 3rd of the season whereby a player has pulled out of the challenge but the attacking player is in the process of going down anticipating the contact (which doesn’t come). VAR encouraging attacking players to go down softly regardless of contact.
@TalkingWolves This is a superb interview. Making it very clear that these decisions have repercussions that affect more than the players on the pitch but affect the clubs finances & therefore all employees. Really hope this interview wider media attention.
@henrywinter If you watched game Henry you could make a very strong case for VAR promoting playacting, diving and feigning injury. This behaviour is consistently rewarded, yet we were told that the introduction of VAR would help stamp this out of the game. It’s inarguably made it worse.
@TheAdrianDurham@TheAdrianDurham you watching this interview from GON? It’s a must watch - such an articulate critique of VAR and how it’s affecting the game, the fans, his reputation and the finances of the club and it’s employees. Incredibly calm and assured when he is likely fuming inside.
@TheAdrianDurham@talkSPORT The 1st & 3rd penalty are a perfect case study of how inconsistent ‘clear and obvious’ is applied. These two incidents must be discussed by Webb in his next tv appearance as he needs to explain how the 1st isn’t an error worthy of on-field review but the 2nd is.
@MrRyanLeister More must be made of the Vinicius incident. The Fulham player clearly thrusts his head towards Max & makes contact. The fact he doesn’t go down is immaterial. VAR looked at it & took no action! The interpretation of the laws are encouraging players to dive or feign injury.
@MrRyanLeister@Wolves@BenHusband There needs to be transparency in how the independent panel feedback to the PGMOL. We are told that all referees attend weekly review meetings to collectively discuss contentious decisions and ensure that future mistakes are avoided. Did Rob Jones not attend last weeks meeting?
@SteveMadeley78 It’s widely agreed this incident’s the same as Hwang’s last week which, following the mid-week review panel, PGMOL officials ruled in favour of the penalty decision being overturned by 5-0. Surely this review outcome is feedback to all PGMOL refs so they dont make the same error?
