@mhdksafa When government does it, it is to create dependence and get votes. When people voluntarily do it in charity, it is to help short term so people can get out of poverty and with less bureaucratic waste fraud and abuse.

Works for me. Harder to get government pension when they get replaced every 4-8 years. Working for the government should not be a lifestyle of ease but a public service done as a sacrifice to the community. Same should go for Congress, term limits there would be great rather than lifelong Senators.

If you assume a title (PhD, Admiral, Lawyer) defines competency, you deserve what you get. There are plenty of untitled competent people and certified morons as well. Saying someone was qualified solely because they held a title is childish. Tell us what they actually did to get fired and we can decide if it was just or not.
