๐ฅ The classic GTPS story:
๐ฉ Middle-aged woman
๐บ Became more sedentary (desk job, less activity)
๐ถ Starts a charity walk or new fitness challenge
๐ Glute tendons overloaded too quickly
โก๏ธ Pain on the outside of the hip
Thatโs the perfect recipe for GTPS
๐ฅ Pain on the side of your hip?
Hereโs what causes GTPS โ Greater Trochanteric Pain Syndrome ๐
โ๏ธ Being overweight โ adds pressure to the tendons
๐ Overuse from walking or climbing stairs
๐ Weak gluteal muscles
๐ฉ More common in women โ due to pelvic shape & hormonal changes

Please have a word with them.

I think people work their way through the treatment list and whatever they were trying at the point it got better (which it probably would have done anyway) is the one they recommend to others
