Wayback Wednesday: In 2009, the Academic Success Center opened with space for Tutorial, Math and English Centers, and space for the following programs: EOPS, MESA (Math, Engineering, & Science Achievement), New Horizons, Puente, Umoja, and CalWORKs.

Answer: Batgirl. The first Batgirl, Betty Kane, was a librarian, and the second Batgirl, Dr. Barbara Gordan, had a PhD in Library Science and was the head of the Gotham City Public Library.
Wayback Wednesday: In honor of Comic Con. Before being held at the Convention Center, San Diego Comic Con was held in the US. Grant Hotel, the El Cortez (then a hotel), UCSD, and the Golden Hall (Community Concourse).

Answer: The Serial and Government Publications Division of the Library of Congress. It houses over 5,000 titles and 100,000 individual issues. The oldest comic book is Popular Comics from February 1936.
