February 20-26, 2022, marks Freedom to Read Week! This initiative is intended to challenge efforts to censor, restrict access, and restrict freedom of expression in written materials by promoting the right to intellectual freedom. 1/2
As of Mar 1/22, the SDG Library is going Fine Free on Children’s materials. By joining the #FineFree movement, we will remove (& waive existing) overdue fines from our Juv collections. We hope that taking this progressive step will remove $ barriers and encourage child literacy.
