Many of these venues are still shuttered And SVOG hasn't arrived for them, so the state of California has stepped up to preserve these national treasures.

[nivacalifornia @nivacalifornia]

After months of work @GavinNewsom signed the CA budget which includes $150M for CA's indie venues & promoters!! @NIVACA spent the past months working w/ @calmusuems & @CAfortheArts for a budget that brings back the arts, culture, & live event industries.

Next time you have a cold be sure to have some Jager around. Makes it better. #science #saveourstages

[Troubadour @theTroubadour]

Our friends at @JagermeisterUSA are helping Save Our Stages! They’ve teamed up with @nivassoc to turn the spotlight back on the spaces and people who make local culture come alive. More info about the partnership and the NIVA Emergency Relief Fund here: https://t.co/fJvopOIBFR

Without CA action, indie stages will shutter throughout the state. CA is the birthplace of the modern concert industry, we CAN NOT let this happen. @GavinNewsom, please support grants for these venues and #SaveourCAstages! @nivacalifornia

[San Diego:Dialed In @sddialedin]

but now, @CAgovernor, we need you to guarantee support for the venues like @casbahsandiego whose comeback can't roar back unless they get the financial help promised by the SVOG and state grants for our indie venues #SaveourCAstages! @nivacalifornia (2/2)

[San Diego:Dialed In @sddialedin]

In the before times, @CAgovernor, I would be shutting things down after another amazing show at @casbahsandiego about this time on a Friday. But we still can't work. Safety first, and we've followed all protocols and closed for over a year. (1/2)

We delivered more than $1B for #SaveOurStages in the #AmericanRescuePlan and expanded access to PPP for additional support

Indie venues and theatres—like @NitehawkCinema—are the lifeblood of communities in NY and across the US

These venues WILL be back, and the show will go on

[Harlow's @HarlowsNiteclub]

We are excited to announce that we joined forces with over 300 independent entertainment venues and promoters in California to form @nivacalifornia! Following in the footsteps of @nivassoc, NIVA CA is taking a localized approach to preserving CA's arts & entertainment ecosystem!

[The Scenestar @TheScenestar]

We miss you El Rey Theatre. 😭

Waiting really is the hardest part...

[SDIVA @SDIVAssoc]

Several other states have taken action to prevent indie venues from closing their doors. CA can lead to #saveourCAstages by including targeted relief in the #CABudget. Tweet or call your state legislator to express your support! @SenToniAtkins @asmChrisWard @GavinNewsom

Today marks one year since our stage went dark. Locked doors. No shows. It’s been a struggle to survive, but there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. We can’t wait to welcome you back. Give to SF's Music & Recovery Fund now! @DeanPreston @LondonBreed #oneyeardark #saveourstages
