Today, some of the books that shaped my life—and the lives of so many others—are being challenged by people who disagree with certain ideas or perspectives. And librarians are on the front lines, fighting every day to make the widest possible range of viewpoints, opinions, and ideas available to everyone.
Is it too much to ask that the trustees who are most prone to grandstanding for the camera turn on their mics when asking their grandstanding questions?

They claim to be moderate, centrist problem solvers who are running a 3rd part effort to "give Americans more choices."
Trustee Drblik insisted on a staffing study in 2015, but refused to ever discuss it because it called for more staff. Now she claims she never got a report on whether we accomplished the recommendations. Hahahahaha #NMDL

Gun violence is now the leading cause of death of children in America.
- Child molestation
- Domestic violence
- Corruption
Those are issues that DO NOT rise to the level of expulsion from Congress in Tennessee.
But protesting gun violence after a deadly mass shooting can get Reps Gloria Johnson, Justin Jones and Justin Pearson expelled.

A 9 year-old girl lost her life trying to pull the fire alarm to warn other students in a mass shooting. Yet, a congressmen from her state the very next day said ‘there’s nothing you can do’ and basically said that’s why he home schools his kids. The 9 year old had more bravery.
