[NEWS FROM CN SIDE]
The CN 🐺 girly who previously visited Papergames' headquarters on September 9 returned today to seek answers from the company once again.
According to circulating reports, she collapsed during the confrontation and was subsequently taken to the hospital, she is in a more stable condition now.
Regardless of the circumstances, no one should have to endure such an emotionally distressing experience while seeking answers.
Above all, her health and well-being should come first. We sincerely wish her a smooth and full recovery and hope she receives all the care, support, and time she needs to recover, both physically and emotionally.
This is the clarification from the Valkyrie who was cyberbullied to the point of wanting to jump off a building. She was deeply hurt by wwp's slander against her, which caused her secondary harm. She gathered the courage to state the facts. PPG had promised to provide her with help, but repeatedly brushed her off, and the promised email reply never came.
Why should she be cyberbullied just for liking Valko? Why did PPG see it but do nothing? A company clearly has the responsibility to manage its community, yet it remains indifferent to our pain. This is dereliction of duty, this is coldness—PPG is an accomplice to bullying.

Nearly 100 days. No complete statement. No clear review. No real answer to Global players.
PPG can react to community controversies, so why has this issue been left unanswered for so long?
Such an arrogant liar.

Why not clarify and not launch Valko ahead of schedule? How could you shift all your SINS onto a virtual character and a country and pretend to be innocent?

Those unscrupulous PPG fans, stop smearing our government. Do these facts not prove PPG itself scrapped Valko’s release? Where is your moral ground when you absolve PPG by slandering Valko and state policies?

@ChineseEmbinUS I sincerely hope that the protection of Chinese culture's long-standing reputation will be given attention, along with the values that have made it meaningful to generations of people around the world.

@ChineseEmbinUS Open letter regarding Paper Games and Love and Deepspace. Players have raised concerns about community safety, minors, moderation and international-player communication. These concerns deserve transparent and responsible review.

Ambassador Xie Feng's words on China's role in bringing stability and positive momentum to the world are deeply appreciated. His leadership in promoting cultural exchange is commendable. As a global player of Chinese games, I deeply admire China's cultural achievements and the bridges they build between nations.
It is in this spirit of goodwill that I respectfully raise a concern shared by millions of international players regarding Love and Deepspace (《恋与深空》), developed by Papergames (叠纸游戏).
-A Potential That Is Being Undermined
Love and Deepspace is one of China's most successful cultural exports, with millions of players worldwide, particularly women. It has introduced global audiences to Chinese storytelling, artistry, and creativity. It represents the positive momentum you speak of.
Yet the company's handling of its global community has been deeply troubling. For more than three months, international players have been ignored. A fully developed character, Valko (敖尹), was cancelled days before release after domestic backlash, with no regard for the artistic integrity of the developers who created him. Global players who voiced their concerns have been met with silence.
-Concerns That Affect China's Image
These actions do not reflect the values of respect, fairness, and cross-cultural understanding that China's cultural export programme seeks to promote. They risk damaging the trust that global players have placed in Chinese games.
Additionally, there are serious concerns regarding minor safety. The game contains sexualized content, yet it is rated 12+ in many countries with inadequate age verification. China's own CCTV has reported on this issue twice, yet Papergames has done nothing to address it. This is not the image of Chinese gaming that should be shared with the world.
With this minor risk, recently the game introduced a new activity featuring cocktail recipes that include poisonous plants and toxic ingredients. What makes this especially worrying is that no warning was shown until 36 hours later. For a game with such a large number of underage players, this delay is not just careless, it shows a lack of concern for player safety.
- A Call for Positive Momentum
If China truly seeks to bring stability and positive momentum to the world, its companies must reflect those same values. A game that ignores global players, condones bullying, and fails to protect minors does not achieve that.
I humbly request that the relevant authorities look into this matter and encourage Papergames to address these concerns, uphold the values of cultural exchange, and restore the reputation of Chinese gaming abroad.
Most importantly, reinstating Valko would be a meaningful step toward resolving these issues and rebuilding trust with global players. It would show that China's cultural exports stand for fairness and integrity.
Respectfully,
Global players of Love and Deepspace
