Henry Kaiser launched his last Liberty ship on July 4, 1944 replacing them with the larger and faster Victory Ships. Kaiser shipyards’ 1490 ships revolutionized shipbuilding and many think was key to the Allied victory. Thank you Henry and Happy July 4!
