@bunsenbernerbmd Toby is my speckle-footed American Dingus who specializes in cuddles and mischief and Maeve is my chi-terrier mom dog who puts up with most of his antics and sleeps glued to some part of my body every night. Both are rescues who rescue me back every damn day.

@charlesornstein Good god, yes! I’m working in my yard on a fairly decent July day and I head inside for drinks, snacks, and cool darkness every 45 minutes or so. One case of heatstroke made me more sensitive, so I cannot fathom how much worse it is in even hotter places doing heavier labor.

But he’s a pawn in a much larger strategy to stoke individual rage, turning it into a movement to rewrite American ideals. We must hold those who harness violence to account, as well.
