Mr. Muji, yes, it was one of his demands, but it was not his only demand.
His other demands were:
> Enact a strong Ganga Protection Act.
> Ban mining and other destructive activities in sensitive areas.
And the most important one was strengthening enforcement against pollution.
These are the issues that have not been solved even today, despite spending ₹25,000 crore on the Namami Gange Yojana.
There are lakhs of sewers discharging into the Ganga even today!! I can show hundreds of such sewers in Kanpur, Prayagraj, and Varanasi. I have been there and seen them with my own eyes!!
PM Narendra Modi was very quick to tweet his condolences after G.D. Agrawal's death, yet he never found it important to meet the former IIT Kanpur professor who gave his life to the cause of cleaning the Ganga when he was on hunger strike.
Don't try to cover sins that are unforgivable!!
Why is living in Singapore superior to living in any other city (of India )?

@UtterLogicHQ@plot_twistttt So your argument is the people in system say BMC whose work is to give good roads and cover gutter should be done by tax payers going to office?
Supporters of a team who have won the league are enjoying the PL trophy parade and come out in massive numbers.
Supporters of teams who haven’t won anything are going on about how Arsenal lost to PSG and talking about their old glory days.
Massive difference in standards.
