@sandrayala Only Sand and Onyx Gravel will also buffer your pH +7.0. They are best for African Cichlid Tanks. If you are looking for a dark substrate that is ideal for planted tanks I would recommend any of our Flourite substrates such as Flourite Black or Flourite Black Sand!

@sandrayala So waiting the 24 hours, or doing a small partial water change should remove a portion of both products. Additionally, dosing these two products in their recommended amount is generally not enough to reduce oxygen levels when used according to the label,
