The Southeast Asian Youth Development Center exists to eliminate the social, economic and equality gap affecting the Southeast Asian American community.
At @seadcsf, @myeepsf youth interns were the stars of their #SummerLearningWeek show. They lead field trips, taught engineering principles through fun, interactive projects, hosted a lemonade stand to teach business & math concepts, and hosted a wellness fair.

Our Health Ambassadors had their final event. They collaborated with the TNDC (@TNDC) Food Justice Leaders on a food sampling in front of Dalda’s. They used produce from Dalda’s to make healthy fruit salads that they gave out to community members and shared food resources.
Our offices will be closed for Independence Day. Our hours will resume as normal tomorrow from 10AM-6PM.

Last week, volunteers from Bank of America led a workshop on Money Management for our MYEEP program. Youth engaged in their own budget planning and asked questions about credit, interest, debt, and taxes.

We are partnering up with CYC and SF Parks and Recs to bring our community together this Saturday. We are inviting the community to come and safely celebrate Lao, Thai, and Khmer New Years' while learning about resources. The event is free as well as free food, music and more!
For AAPI Heritage Month, SEADC invited the Southeast Asian Community members and organizations to come together at our center on May 5th. Community members came to learn more about each other's culture, share food, and, most importantly, came to enjoy each other's company.

On April 29th, SEADC and other community organizations organized an event for Eid with the Tenderloin community. The event included free food, activities, and live puppet shows for the kids. Over 300 people attended the event including the District 5 supervisor, Dean Preston.
