He said although he can operate on an injury, despite his years & years of training, the psychological wounds are too deep for him to reach & are beyond his skillset & expertise to heal...

So the children’s hospitals is full, to the point of turning patients away, there are more children in hospital or needing care than expected for this time of year, but then they make sure to emphasize that it’s not covid. Ok well then what is it? Why are kids sicker than normal?

Being #trauma informed cannot and should not be a buzzword reduced to workshops and KPIs. Trauma informed approaches require a fundamental shift away from superficial or top-down change and towards deep, liberatory, and Community centered transformation.
