We wanted to show a contour glow effect,
like an X-ray image inside the weapon.
When light hits it, the effect disappears -
and you’re left with just the artwork.

I feel that there are some really good creatives out there still on CS2, typically with much smaller followings by comparison, but it isnt anything compared to CSGO. I partially blame the lack of new content in the game, no one wants to make content on a game that never changes.
